VAST's signature handwoven textile is crafted with precision and care, with each 10-meter piece taking seven days to complete. The brand is committed to training young women in weaving and tailoring, equipping them with skills for independence and self-sufficiency.
RECYCLED BRASS
VAST uses upcycled brass from the Kibera slum, transforming discarded materials into elegant accents, while intricate Maasai beadwork pays homage to Kenya’s rich cultural heritage.
HIDES
VAST's goat suede and cowhide collections are high quality, sourced from Kenya’s free-roaming livestock, where every hide is valued and used with purpose. The process supports local communities with an ambitious effort to ensure that nothing goes to waste—from the largest pieces to the smallest off-cuts.
