The Dobra necklace plays with duality. On one side, a square keshi pearl sits in contrast to a textured fold of metal; on the other, the pleated silver surface is left to speak on its own. Worn either pearl-facing or metal-facing, the piece shifts with the wearer, balancing softness and structure.

Suspended from a 3 mm blecher chain, 46 cm in length.

Available in recycled sterling silver or sterling silver with 18ct gold plating.
Handmade and finished in our London studio using the lost wax casting method.

As each keshi pearl is naturally unique, your necklace may vary slightly from the photos shown, making every piece one of a kind.

Carolina de Barros makes handcrafted jewellery inspired by the natural forms of earth and stone, finding beauty in imperfections and the human touch. Carolina is drawn to the sculptural freedom of jewellery, teasing ancestral forms and finishes from her material processes. She works with the ancient technique of lost wax casting - a process whereby each piece is carved by hand in wax, before being cast in precious metals, resulting in a collection of wholly unique pieces.

The pieces strive toward the elemental, retaining an organicism which allows the wearer an effortless tactile relationship with the jewellery. All materials used are ethically sourced, sustainably produced and recycled where possible.
