The Carolyn Skirt is inspired by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's style - classic, pared-back elegance. Designed for the Bay Garnett x HERD collaboration.
It is made by way of our honest luxury approach, pioneering authentic fashion made with natural materials of origin. Made from fine Bluefaced Leicester wool from North of England sheep farms without chemicals, including plant dyes.
Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K, our pieces are born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin.
Detail - The Carolyn Skirt is true to size, in a mid weight jersey knit stitch with detailing on the cuff and hem.
Materials - The Carolyn Skirt is made from our very own traceable soft Bluefaced Leicester sheep wool, which we source ourselves at a fair price from farmers in N.W. England, and make into yarn within 150 miles of the farms. We then either blend the yarn to make natural shades, or dye using plant extracts and naturally occurring mordants.
Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air, or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.
Size & fit - The Carolyn Skirt is fitted, take your usual size. Model wears a size Small.
