Founded by textile designer Laura Miles, Woven is built on more than two decades of expertise in handwoven cloth and a deep respect for the communities that create it. Working exclusively with the WomenWeave and Karghewale cooperatives in Maheshwar, India, every piece is made from fabric woven without electricity on traditional pit and frame looms — a craft that has been practised on the banks of the River Narmada for generations.
The result is clothing of quiet distinction: natural-fibre garments that are breathable in summer, warm in winter, and made to last. Behind each piece is a network of women weavers who are supported, skilled and fairly paid — proof that fashion can be both beautiful and genuinely good.
