Ada Donegal Style Sweater Claret Red

The Ada crewneck sweater in soft lambswool spun in a Donegal style.  A rich claret red with textured flecks of colour including orange and teal.  It pairs well with both darker shades like chocolate brown, denim and navy and lighter white and ecru tones.

Knitted and hand finished in the UK,  Ada has a boxy fit and is slightly cropped to hip length.  A versatile, all year round style with a light, airy feel.  Layer it over a dress or t shirt and skirt in warmer weather or wear in cooler months with corduroy and denim. 

The slightly cropped length means it works well with skirts and high waist trousers or with a t shirt underneath.  It slips on effortlessly over a dress and is great for layering.

The Ada sweater is knitted in the round and finished by hand.  This type of knitting not only produces a beautiful seamless garment, it uses less yarn and produces less waste.

Made in Scotland in small batches.
