The defining detail is the cross-front harness, hand-cut from authentic Dan Fani — a traditional handwoven West African textile — in a richly striped palette of teal, indigo, amber, and ivory. The straps cross at the chest and continue over the shoulders, meeting at a dramatically open back secured with hidden buttons for an adjustable, custom fit.

Because each strap is individually cut from handwoven Dan Fani cloth, no two Amina Cross Dresses are exactly alike. The stripe placement, rhythm, and colour variation will differ from piece to piece — and from the images shown here. This is not an imperfection. It is the mark of a garment made by hand, from fabric made by hand.
