Cashmere Classic Crewneck Charcoal

Introducing Scottish cashmere.  We've gone back to our roots to add cashmere to our range of luxury knitwear.  But this time it's spun and knitted right here in the UK.

A classic crewneck shape with a regular fit in a lightweight knit. Our cashmere is spun and knitted in Scotland.  The fibre is ethically sourced from Mongolia and China and is certified by the Sustanable Fibe Alliance.  It arrives by boat where it is dyed in fibre state before being spun into yarn.  This produces a more richer, more durable colour and is where the phrase dyed in the wool comes from. 

It has a slightly lofted finish and a super soft hand feel.  Perfect for layering over a shirt but just as comfortable next to the skin.  A simple, versatile piece that can be layered with tailoring or more casually with your favourite skirt or trousers.  In the campaign photos, we styled it tucked under for a shorter shape which works as it's lighweight. It can also be worn longer, over a slim fitting skirt for example, for a different silhouette.

It's knitted in the round using a seamless technique and finished by hand.  Seamless knitting not only produces a beautiful garment, it uses less yarn and produces significantly less waste.

Made in the UK in small batches.  Hand wash only.

Care

Hand wash in cool water. Do not wring. Dry flat. Can be dry cleaned. Wool is naturally antibacterial so can be aired between wears. For more information visit our dedicated Garment Care page.
