Raye British Wool Cardigan Peat

Sale price£375.00

Part of our signature Raye collection, the cardigan has a boxy, swingy fit with a straight hem.   It's made from the fleece of British Bluefaced Leicester sheep, spun in Yorkshire and knitted in London - a truly British knit.

With the same relaxed silhouette as the sweater, the Raye cardigan has a dropped shoulder, boxy shape and a straight hem. The minimal, modern design combines heritage knitwear details at the seams inspired by English gansey jumpers and deep ribs at the hem and cuffs. A versatile piece that works well dressed up or down, over a dress or shirt, or worn over the Raye vest for a modern take on the twinset.

Finished with British made corozo buttons and sewn with cotton thread so that it is fully biodegradable and can return to the soil at the end of it's life.

The wool we use is fully traceable back to the farmers across Northern England who provide the fleece.  Bluefaced Leicester has the finest and softest fleece of all British breeds, luxurious with a beautiful lustre and drape.

Constructed using the traditional knitting process of fully fashioning whereby each piece of the cardigan is knit separately and then linked together and finished by hand by our partner factory a mile from the studio.

Made in England in small batches.
