Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of, marginalized producers and workers.
At Gather&See we are particularly inspired by brands which protect and promote the rights of women, who are so often garment industry workers worst affected by the impact of 'Fast Fashion'. Ironic considering fashion is so often seen as a tool for female expression and a female driven industry.
