The new edition of the Makeda Kimono is a refined reinterpretation of one of MOPEPE’s signature pieces. This version removes the front slit for a smoother, more continuous flow, allowing the fabric to move effortlessly — almost weightlessly — around the body. Crafted from ultra-light Shibori silk, it is designed to capture the essence of the Oya Collection, celebrating the spirit and fluidity of wind. With each step, the silk ripples softly, creating an airy silhouette that feels as though it floats.
