The Nereides were fifty sea-nymphs and the daughters of Nereus, the old man of the sea.
They were the living embodiment of the ocean itself, from the salty spray to the crashing waves.
The Neso Necklace features an aqua blue green 8mm chalcedony, for the islands of the nereid that Neso represents.
